Our Impact
Sacred Heart & Alexandra Township
ConnectHub has over the years conducted a series of pilot programs in various parts of the country namely, Johannesburg at Sacred Heart & Phokeng, with our first official pilot program in collaboration the African Leadership Academy. The pilot was only two days as we ascertained the level of interest in the program by students. At the end of the two days working with the BUILD-IN-A-BOX team, learners had to present solutions to their identified problems. Although this was very theoretical, it layed the foundation for us to build on the program, moving it from a theoretical practice toward a more practical learning experience. This experience was attended by learners from Sacred Heart and learners Minerva, Alex High, Realogile and Kwa-Begilanga. Here we were able to raise R25 000.00
Royal Bafokeng Nation & Royal Impact
Upon the the further development of our program, we partnered with Royal Impact to deliver a second pilot in 2023 & 2024 to learners from the Royal Bafokeng Nation. The program was extended to a 10 week program to get learners to engage in experiential learning. Along side the support of Standard Bank, we delivered the program to 30 learners coming from different schools in the region, namely, Lebone College of the Royal Bafokeng, Kitsong Independent School, Keledi High and Bafokeng High. Through this program we were able to collectively raise R300 000.00 to deliver the program.
