ConnectHub - 2024

As we step into 2025, we're incredibly proud to look back on the success of ConnectHub's pilot program in 2024 in Phokeng. The journey has been nothing short of transformative—not only for the students but also for us as educators and facilitators. In many developing countries, the challenges of unemployment, inequality, and a fast-changing world demand innovative solutions. Entrepreneurship education equips young people with critical skills like problem-solving, resilience, and creativity. It empowers them to see opportunities where others see obstacles, creating change-makers who can drive sustainable growth within their communities. Through ConnectHub, we’ve witnessed learners uncover their potential, build business solutions to real-world problems, and—importantly—start thinking about sustainability and monetization from day one. It’s proof that young people in Africa are not just future leaders; they are leaders now. Building on this momentum, we’re thrilled to announce our plans to expand the program this year. In July 2025 - October, we aim to welcome more schools in Johannesburg to be part of ConnectHub. This is more than a program; it’s a movement to equip young people with tools to shape their futures and their communities. To our partners, educators, and the incredible learners who made 2024 a success: thank you for believing in this vision. And to those looking to join us in 2025—let’s build something extraordinary together! We continue to give gratitude to the African Leadership Academy and Build In a Box for their support in providing the framework Standard Bank South Africa for their initial support in 2023. Furthermore to BizNews on their feel-good story feature earlier this year. Lastly to all the school that participated in the 2024 program namely, @KitsongIndependent School @BafokengHigh Lebone II College of the Royal Bafokeng @KelediSecondary
